It’s so very hard to believe that we have been so busy for almost a month, and I have neglected my blog. *sigh* Oh well.. it’s all a matter of priority, I guess.
I was able to see a very dear friend of mine just before Thanksgiving. She lives in Florida with her husband and their two princess’s. I miss her terribly, but at least there is the internet, and the telephone. They stopped for dinner just off the interstate, so the boys and I met up with them, and enjoyed a very short 1 1/2 hours. It wasn’t nearly long enough, but I will take it.
The boys are doing well, and enjoying the holidays, and even tho it all seems more and more commericalized and chaotic each year, I suppose I am enjoying it just as much. I am trying to teach the boys, more now than ever, the importance of the season. They are genuinly giving boys, but I want them to understand that its not about what is under the tree, but what is in our hearts. I am pretty sure they “get” it, but I just want to make sure. Entomologist loves hearing the story of the first Christmas, and thinks its one of the best stories he has ever heard. He actually does prefer that story over “Twas the Night Before Christmas”.. so that’s a good sign.
Well that pretty much brings us up to date, I will try not to stay gone for so long.
